Welcome to the Smith College Sazanami official blog!

Updates on Sazanami news, announcements, meetings, upcoming events will be posted regularly.

Sazanami is a Japanese Culture Organization to provide for those who are interested in Japan an educational and cultural forum to showcase any and all things related to Japan.

Our mission is to stimulate enthusiasm about Japanese culture as well as to give an encompassing representation of the country. We aim to provide more opportunities for the Smith community to experience and learn about the Japanese culture.

We also work with Takahashi-sensei (our unofficial adviser) and the East Asian Languages and Cultures department at Smith. In addition to advertising our own events, we will also spread the word about both sensei's and the department's activities.
Sazanami is hosting Hanami this upcoming Sunday, April 14 2013 from 12:30pm to 4:00pm at the CC Carroll Room! Come enjoy the free traditional japanese food, performances and activities!
